A rock splitter is a mechanical device that uses hydraulic power to crush hard materials such as rocks and concrete. The whole machine consists of three parts: a power station, a high-pressure hydraulic hose, and a splitting cylinder.

    Working Principle and Features

The equipment utilizes a hydraulic system to generate tremendous thrust, which is transmitted to the material's interior through a splitting cylinder, causing it to fracture in a predetermined direction. This equipment boasts outstanding advantages such as ease of operation, high efficiency, and reliable safety. Since no explosives are required, it completely eliminates the safety hazards and environmental pollution associated with blasting operations. Furthermore, the rock splitter can adapt to complex working conditions such as confined spaces and underwater environments, and is widely used in mining, building demolition, and road construction.

Mining: Used for extracting ore and raw blocks
Building Demolition: Used for demolishing buildings, bridges, and other structures
Road Construction: Used for breaking up road surfaces and bedrock

    FAQ

    1. What is the working principle of a rock splitter?

It utilizes a hydraulic system to generate enormous thrust, which is transmitted to the interior of the rock or concrete through splitting cylinders, causing it to fracture in a predetermined direction.

    2. What are the advantages compared to traditional blasting?

It eliminates the need for explosives, completely removing the safety hazards and environmental pollution associated with blasting operations. It can operate in complex conditions such as confined spaces and underwater.

    3. What are the drilling diameter and depth?

Drilling diameters range from Φ115-203mm, and drilling depths from 1600-3000mm, depending on the model.

    4. What are the splitting force and splitting depth?

The maximum splitting force can reach 30,000 tons, and the splitting depth ranges from 1000-1800mm, meeting the needs of various working conditions.

    5. What is the power station configuration?

Motor power is available from 22-33kW and can be customized according to the on-site power supply conditions.

    6. Is it compatible with excavators?

Yes, we provide excavator compatibility solutions. The PVT-1000 is compatible with 24-36 ton excavators, and the PVT-2000 is compatible with 48-65 ton excavators.

    7. How is the equipment shipped overseas?

It is packed in plywood crates, with the power unit and splitting cylinder packed separately, and shipped by container sea.

    8. Are English manuals and operation training provided?

English operation manuals and video tutorials are provided.

    9. Can it operate underwater?

Yes, the splitting cylinder uses a special sealing design and can operate normally underwater.

    10. Are spare parts readily available?

Consumable parts such as splitting cylinder seals are kept in stock year-round and can be shipped with the main unit or sent by express courier.

    11. What are the suitable application scenarios?

Mining (ore and block mining), building demolition (building and bridge demolition), road construction (road surface and bedrock breaking).
